Reston, VA., November 27, 2001 - Exit1, Inc., provider of expert Internet technology solutions, today announced the launch of a unique Web site designed to help District of Columbia Public High School students prepare for college. The District of Columbia College Access Program - or DC-CAP - provides counseling, preparatory and financial assistance for students who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend college.

"As a D.C.-area company it's important for us to understand the needs of our area youth, address these needs and help them prepare for their future," Exit1 President & CEO David Baker said. "It's encouraging to work with groups such as DC-CAP to provide such high quality, essential information for students. We're proud to be a part of this effort."

"With the support of the Case Foundation, DC-CAP has launched a Web site that provides D.C. public high school students and their parents with valuable information on the range of financial resources available to help them enroll in college," DC-CAP Executive Director Argelia Rodriguez stated. "The site also serves as a comprehensive college resource with useful, up-to-date information on the college application process."

In addition to information and guidance for high school students who are preparing for college, the DC-CAP Web site provides a listing of college student services, a parent guide, educational planning suggestions, financial aid information, background on a wide variety of colleges and a DC-CAP events calendar.
